Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the archbishop of New York and chair of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association, places his zucchetto on Henry Samir, a 6-year old child with disabilities, outside the Mar Narsai Clinic in Dahuk, Iraq, on April 10, 2016. The clinic was built and equipped by CNEWA to meet the needs of Christians and others displaced to Dahuk because of attacks by ISIS.
Standing beside Cardinal Dolan is Bishop Shlemon Warduni, the auxiliary bishop of the Patriarchate of Babylon.
Cardinal Dolan came to Iraqi Kurdistan with Bishop William Murphy of Rockville Centre and other church leaders to visit with Christians and others affected by ISIS.
