Refugees pass through Greece on way to western EuropeAdd to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
Her stuffed bear on her back, a refugee girl watches as a ferry docks at night on the Greek island of Chios. She and her family came to the island by crossing the Aegean Sea on a small boat from Turkey. Upon arrival, they were registered and provided with food and shelter in a reception center built with support from International Orthodox Christian Charities, a member of the ACT Alliance. Now she and her family are moving on to Athens, and from there on to western Europe. Hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants have passed through Greece in 2015.
