Haitian-Dominican musicians play during worship in an evangelical church in La Hoya, a small rural town near Barahona in the southwest of the Dominican Republic. The service brings together Dominicans and Haitian-Dominicans from a nearby batey in an unusual demonstration of unity in a land where discrimination against Dominicans of Haitian ancestry is growing.
